... Last night makes the 2nd night that Micah has slept in his own bed. No, I'm not talking about his bassinet sitting right next to my side of the bed. I'm speaking of his own little bed in his own bedroom...all the way across the hallway from our bedroom.
I've mixed feelings about this. There are pros and cons to him going to his own bed. And, I knew that eventually it had to happen. But I miss my Cuddle Bug! He's growing up WAY too fast for his Momma. And, I'm sure his Daddy is glad to have more than 1/4 of the bed back to sleep on. Yes, 1/4. We seemed to give Micah all the room and both of us have slept with our rear ends or other parts of our bodies hanging off the sides of our Queen bed to give our wee one all the room he needed. LOL
I am pretty sure that on weekends we'll still probably bring him into bed with us. But, it seems to be working very well for him to be in his own room during the week.
Oh! And, he slept from 11 pm until ... NOW! 7:30 am and I'm headed in there to wake him up.
